PC Operator Interface
At the heart of the S765AT is Schlumberger's CATE software: a proven software executive for use in production test, with over 450 seats worldwide. It provides a flexible set of standards-based, graphical programming and production integration tools. T hese give the user the means to quickly develop and debug test sequences on the S765AT for production verification of Engine Management Systems (EMS), Anti-Skid Braking Systems (ABS) and Safety Restraining (Airbag) Systems (SRS). Key CATE applications that are used in Automotive Test include:
Strategizer
A graphical means of creating and maintaining test program sequences, using a series of icons to create clear representations of flow control, function calls and test sequences.
Automotive Workbench
A comprehensive set of graphical interfaces for creating, debugging and editing automotive tests, using facilities that provide a flexible method of controlling the test system instrumentation, combined with higher level, knowledge-rich test and DSP measurement facilities.
SPC Workbench
Platform-independent software tools, based on HTML and Java, which can be used to help optimize the stability of a test program.
Matrix Manager
A graphical representation of a switching system that allows the actual relay states to be recalled to assist with error-free and efficient coding of test programs.
Throughput Manager
A set of tools to assist with the throughput optimization of a test program, incorporating test time profiling and adaptive test sequencing (shown above).
System Diagnostics and Calibration
A three-tiered precision product for ensuring system capability and performance, incorporating:
- Built-in Module Self Test
- Optional Advanced Diagnostics
- Optional Traceable Calibration to National Standards.
PC Operator Interface
Used when controlling the S765AT in production, this PC-based operator environment has been created using Visual Basic Professional and can be easily modified to suit individual user needs.
