Advanced Performance for Next Generation Devices
The IDS 10000plus ProbeSystem is the next generation electron-beam diagnostic system offering advanced performance for the diagnosis of highly complex integrated circuits.
Schlumberger has complemented its family of products with the most advanced Thermal Field Emission (TFE) based electron-beam probing system available. The IDS 10000plus ProbeSystem is the third generation of IDS electron beam probe systems. The system incorporates a high brightness TFE electron source for increase in beam current of twenty times over current LaB6-based probers. This new technology reduces waveform acquisition time by a factor of twenty, compared to existing generation systems, and provides a bandwidth of over 7GHz.
Nearly every component of the IDS 10000plus has been enhanced to meet the demands of the latest generation of integrated circuits. The IDS 10000plus has a completely redesigned energy analyzer for higher voltage accuracy and reduced cross-talk, an extended movement stage to support the largest devices, an improved time-base for 10ps timing resolution, a new 50ps blanker for increased bandwidth, and a partitioned architecture for enhanced test floor mobility. |
